Anthony was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's B Cell Lymphoma in the summer of 2012. He went to the doctor’s office one day, completely unrelated to cancer symptoms, and happened to find out that he had a tumor in his chest. Anthony had to go through chemotherapy treatment, but today he is in the best shape of his life. He feels like he can accomplish anything he wants.
Anthony’s wish was to go on a European cruise. As long as he could remember he had always wanted to go to Europe and see what it was like, and he felt like a this was the perfect opportunity to be able to do so. His favorite part of the wish was seeing new things and meeting new people to learn all about their culture. He was also excited that he got to share this awesome experience with his mom, dad, and two little sisters. Anthony and his family had a wonderful time on the cruise.
Since Anthony returned from his wish, he has graduated high school. He is very proud to say that he graduated on time even though he could not go to school for an entire year because of his cancer treatment. He plans on attending Spring Hill College in the fall and is going to major in Chemistry. Anthony hopes that he can change the world one day and not waste this second chance at life that he has received.
He says, “never lose the will to fight, because it is only then that you truly lost.”
