For questions or to RSVP, please contact Julie Baldwin at firstname.lastname@example.org
Open to all ages but must be 21 years of age and over to grant wishes. No age limit to help with fundraising.
We ask that volunteers please print, fill out, and bring with them their New Volunteer Application, Adult Consent Form, and Background Check Authorization Form. To help prepare our new volunteers for community involvement and granting wishes, we also ask that each person donate 2 gift cards ($25 minimum each) to our Chapter. These items can be donated by a 3rd party or purchased by you. This request is meant to serve two purposes: for use as “warm-up gifts” for the Wish interviews or for our auctions to raise money for wishes! As a wish granter and representative of Make-A-Wish you will gain experience talking to members of the community to help raise funds for our chapter. You will join us as we strive to grant a wish to every medically eligible child in our chapter territory. We find this step in the "New Volunteer" process serves a valuable purpose and helps prepare the volunteer for what's to come. In order to move forward in the volunteer process, we ask that you bring your 2 gift cards along with your paperwork to the orientation.
Please visit our website at http://texgulf.wish.org/ways-to-help/volunteering/volunteer for more information about what to expect at the orientation along with descriptions of the different opportunities we have. We appreciate your help to make wishes come true and can't wait to have you join our team!
We hope to see you there!!!
